Moving Through the World in Stories (5-10 yrs) Library Program
Through the integration of yoga and the ancient art of oral storytelling, captivating diverse tales enlighten children through yoga postures as gestural illustrations to demonstrate the importance of love, generosity, peace and friendship. Children’s movement, listening and communicating skills are sharpened, while children are simultaneously promoting story sequencing and retelling abilities. Tween/Kids Yoga (8-12 yrs)
Through the use of visual imagery, meditation, yoga postures/asanas, games and activities, tweens are encouraged to explore the power of self in their community, mindfully building compassion, support and respect in their relationship to themselves and others. While having fun in a safe and non-competitive environment, kids look within themselves to discover their own strengths and gifts, learning to accept the beauty each of them have within.
Family Yoga (5 yrs +)
This class is designed to bring the whole family together to share a mindful yet playful experience together. Offered monthly with varying content including partner yoga, circus yoga activities, discussion, and the opportunity to quiet the mind through visualization and relaxation. Designed for families with kids ages 5 and up to strengthen the family bond while promoting individual growth.
