Be a part of celebrating 3 years of empowering over 2500 at-risk girls in detention centers, prisons and residential treatment centers through trauma informed yoga, mindfulness and creative art therapy.
Join CYP, Michael Orth, Commissioner Westchester County Department of Community Mental Health, Catherine Borgia, Westchester County Board of Legislators, and Timeke Amenra-Vaughan, Assistant Director, Detention Services, Children’s Village and learn about the October 1st Raise the Age legislation and hear trauma survivors’ powerful stories of transformation. Gain a better understanding of the importance of supporting the youth transitioning from prisons to the places where CYP offers its services.
The event will include food, drink, silent auction, dance party with DJ That_Vitiligo_Guy and powerful artistic performances from CYP participants. We hope you will join us for this unique experience, and learn how Raise the Age will help transition youth towards a better future.
